Biography

Marina Kotikova was born in 1961.

She showed interest in art from age 7 and studied mosaic, sculpture and art history for 10 years with renowned russian artists. Afterwards she graduated in economic geography and worked for 10 years as chief of department in a museum.

Marina has had over 20 exhibitions both collective exhibitions and solo shows during the last 15 years in Norway.

Her artwork is hard to categorise: dreamlike, act, portraits, minimal, realistic and mystical.

Many of her paintings are in private collections in Russia, USA and Europe.

Expression in painting comes from what her eyes sees, her thoughts and souls desire.
